We know Singapore is really hot but unless you're headed to the swimming pool or the beach, please button up your shirt, gents! We know you must have been doing some intense chest presses or sit-ups but baring your chest in public is a no-no.

Being well dressed is an extra point so anything that tips towards the poised look is agreeable. An easy way to achieve that is by adding an outerwear, be it a bomber jacket or a sleek blazer. They upgrade your look even when you're wearing a plain T-shirt.

To Stay: Cuffed pants and colourful socks
It's irritating borderline frustrating to see men with unhemmed pants, ruffling from the thighs all the way down to the ankles. One way to solve that is by cuffing the ends and slipping into colourful socks! Be wild and creative when choosing your socks because they don't have to colour coordinate with the rest of the outfits.

The picture speaks for itself. Also, notice how dreadful white socks are? Not to mention when you pair them with dress shoes.

This one is kind of risky, but we'll say meggings are acceptable given they are worn with loose bermuda, knee-length shorts! This getup looks especially good on gents with thinner legs.

Calling all fashion-savvy gentlemen out there, please pay attention to these dos and dont's - coming from your female counterparts.

At times we hear in the passing men saying how difficult and expensive it is to be well-dressed. As daunting as it may sound, it is actually easy to appear well put-together and impress the girls.

It starts with hemming your pants that are too long they ruffle all around, or by cuffing them and donning on playfully colourful socks. It is also as simple as adding an outerwear — think preppy blazer or sporty bomber jacket — to your T-shirt as a final touch.
