After seeing countless Men’s Fashion Weeks and Emma Stone rock menswear-inspired outfits, we’re itching to add blazers, suit pants, brogues and backpacks to our wardrobe as well.

As seen on the designer runways of Marc Jacobs, Saint Laurent and Alexander Wang, menswear motifs are making a huge statement in the fashion industry. From loafers and brogues to blazers and jeans – the androgynous look is edgy, fun and totally wearable.

This season, we’re taking inspiration from the boys as we shop their closest for our upcoming looks – we’re selecting everything from oversized bomber jackets to leather gloves and ripped jeans while not forgetting the cool collars and bulky backpacks of course.

If you’re not daring enough to rock the trend head-to-toe, simply add a structured blazer to a feminine dress. However, if you adore the look and want to go all out, choose a matching pant suit and crop top for your next night out – it’ll add an unexpected twist to your usual cocktail dress.

Love the trend but stumped as to where to start? Instead of raiding your boyfriend’s wardrobe, embrace your inner garçon by taking inspiration from our gallery of unique menswear-inspired pieces. If Emma Stone could do it, so can you!
