Be it prints, embellishments, minimal or avant-garde designs – the Asia Fashion Collection has got it all covered.

Nestled in the heart of Singapore’s shopping district is Robinsons new flagship store (Robinsons Orchard) which opened its doors just a few months ago. While it houses a plethora of international heavyweights from both the beauty and fashion industry, Asian brands were certainly not left out of the equation. In a bid to bring more Asian designers to prominence, Robinsons has introduced 8 new Asian labels as part of their Asia Fashion Collection. Those being Cassey Gan, Cruise, Still, Stolen, One Choi, J Apostrophe and Curated by Ekthongprasert.

Hailing from different parts of Asia, be sure to expect diverse, versatile and – needless to say – highly covetable collections.

From One Choi‘s sensous yet timeless knitwear (the designer prides herself with infusing the spirit of erotica with modern aesthetics), Cassey Gan’s mixed media wonders and Still’s avant-garde yet minimalist garments which accentuate clean and controlled silhouettes – there is definitely something for everyone.

For us, however, the following designers stood out the most.

Curated by Ek Thongprasert (Thailand)

Florals take a new turn with hand-crafted petals that were ever so intricately sewn onto each Curated garment. The meticulously thought that went to every detail was simply breathtaking, and it was these 3D embellishments that got us swooning over the entire collection. In essence, This Thai label has redefined florals and is without a doubt one of our favourites from the Asia Fashion Collection.

Stolen (Singapore)

While the Asia Fashion Collection comprises of designers dishing out stunning displays of exuberant prints, the monochrome and muted palette of sky blue, moss and nude that dominated Stolen‘s SS14 collection was the collection that caught our eye. Topped off with their signature backless designs, we were completely won over. Be it a blazer, blouse or dress, Stolen effortlessly embodied chic, classy and elegant into every one of their garments.

Just a head’s up, the leather bralet in Stolen’s new collection is something you definitely do not want to miss out on. We’ll race you to it!
