Let’s be honest, most of us are totally crazy about lipstick. But would you love it even more if we told you that it is possible to get your favorite celebrity face sculpted on your lipstick? Yes, we’re not kidding you!
May Sum, a Hong Kong-based multimedia artist has created an incredible collection of handmade lipstick sculptures. The artist works on high end brand lipsticks of “Max Factor”, “Mac” “Nars“, “Estée Lauder” and “Yves Saint Laurent” to sculpt 3D versions of celebrities such as Anna Wintour, Kate Moss, Marilyn Monroe and Lady Gaga among others. The best or the worst part of this – depending on your thoughts on this project – is that May Sum takes custom orders. Actually, she can sculpt anyone from a lipstick provided she has a photo which gives a very general outline of a person’s face (a lot of detail is actually undesirable here as it makes the artist’s job harder). So if you want , you can order a lipstick with your favorite celebrity face, or your own face, or why not even your boyfriend’s face?
To get it you’ll have to spend a cool USD620 here and wait, at least two weeks, which is the time needed to design the bespoke piece.
