The products under this brand may be pricy but is worth every dime.

Laneige Water Bank range
Laneige is probably one of the most popular Korean beauty brand around - possibly the first to also make its way to American soil.

The products fundamentally promise to promote hydration for a healthy and radiant complexion. For instance, the water bank range is one that specifically ensures your skin stays moisturised for the entire day.

Etude House Moistfull Super Collagen
Etude House is known for its fast and furious approach to launching new products and each seems to be better than the last.
Typically packaged in a feminine and princessy outlook, the brand is a favourite amongst those looking to emulate their favourite K-pop singers.

Belif Hungarian Water Essence
As a herbal beauty brand, Belif intends to stay true to its ingredients, efficacy and value.

The brand essentially came to fruition through the herbal recipes of Duncan Napier, a medical herbalist from Scotland. Hence, it's worthy to note that the range does not contain synthetic preservatives, colours and fragrances or mineral oils and animal origin ingredients.

TheFaceShop Chia Seed range
While TheFaceShop only launched in Singapore back in 2011, the brand seems to be on the mouths of everyone who's looking for an affordable range of skincare that promises a youthful glow.
The brand particularly uses plant-based ingredients in their products and is a strong advocate for naturally-sourced ingredients.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Oil
Innisfree is lauded as one of the first Korean brands to place natural ingredients at the forefront of their products. To add to that, Innisfree products are free of parabens, colourants and mineral oils.

Natural K-beauty is one way to place this brand but its slightly clinical and minimalistic approach to packaging has similarly won our hearts over.

In Asia when we speak of beauty, the only nation that springs to mind faster than you can say kimchi is Korea. Japan may have been long revered as the leading beauty innovator but ever since the BB cream came into the foreground, Korea has indubitably propelled itself forward to astronomical heights. Then came the cushion compacts of course and quite honestly that is another story altogether.

The country, famous for its legion of k-pop stars, is churning out beauty brands and innovative products relatively furiously. If you blink once, you might just miss the next new IT serum and risk the goodness of what the Koreans are indulging in.

Since Koreans are lauded for their meticulous skincare regime and their resulting flawless complexions, they must be doing something right in their product innovation.
