This season, Sulwhasoo attempts to introduce a little bit of Korean traditional painting in its latest skincare range.

In collaboration with Donah Lee, a contemporary Minhwa artist, Sulwhasoo is focusing on bringing Korean tradition to the world this time, by recapturing Hwajeopdo (the painting of butterflies and flowers) on the packaging of its limited edition skincare products for 2016. This traditional Korean painting genre, originally done for the royal family, showcases the harmonious and elegant spirit that the season of spring brings after a harsh winter.
