Nail trends to flaunt for the Holidays

As we start to put together our holiday outfits, let’s not forget our nails – we absolutely can’t devoid them of the joy of being dressed up!

Glitter polish

 

Christmas is hardly complete without a smidge or two of glitter. Whether on your clothes, make up or nails, glitter takes priority this festive season.

Caviar nails

Caviar nails, presumably created by Ciate, was the socialite of manicures and nail art. So much so that it garnered the same status as the finest dish itself.

The nature of Caviar nails – small 3D spheres – makes them perfect for short-term wear, i.e. a Holiday party because they may start falling off by the end of the night. Nonetheless, get them in multicolour and it’s akin to having confetti strewn across your nails!

 Metallic nails

Other than glitter, the holiday season bodes shimmer. Shimmer is the toned down sister of glitter and that makes metallic nails versatile enough to be worn casually or dressed up.

 Press-on nails

Finally, the easiest manicure of the lot this season is press-on nails. We’re not talking about those tacky, eye-numbingly long and plastic nails that will scare just about any sane person. Today, press-on nails has evolved to smaller and less bulky ones that only serve to appear as second skin for the nails.

If you thought nail wraps are easy, press on nails are beyond effortless. All you do is remove the tape, stick it on and watch them stun the crowd.
