Our favourite has to be the painted-on fruits that are mischievous yet grown-up, all at the same time. A matte coating on a watermelon-inspired design has us dreaming of whipping out our long-forgotten nail care tools this weekend! The trick is to keep the colours as subtle as possible, and reserve the complicated nail decor for just one or two nails per hand. The rest of the nails can be polished with complimentary colours to keep the look cohesive.
French manicures sound like a thing of the past now that various nail trends and techniques are surfacing. However, it is still a classic and is a go-to for the corporates, female political power houses and those in the service industry. Make it your own (and avoid looking too drab) by using alternative colours to the usual nude and white with colourful bright hues.
