Dry lips are a telltale sign of dehydration or a dry environment, like freezing-cold office air conditioning. Our lips are more sensitive then the rest of our skin, so it needs extra TLC. Just like how the rest of your makeup looks best with proper skincare, you’ll give all the justice there is to your favourite lip colour with proper upkeep of your lips.
To get them looking like it’s just shed into a new skin, lip scrubs are the answer. A good exfoliant will turn your puckers into a smooth canvas for pigmented lipsticks to glide on. Moreover, the abrasive action will stimulate blood circulation, giving you a temporary plumping effect for a fuller-looking pout (since looking like Kylie Jenner is all the rage nowadays!). Use your middle finger to work the product in, or a small sponge or clean toothbrush for a more even-pressured scrub.
