Avene Thermal Spring Water, SGD29.90

“Known for its soothing and hydrating qualities, I always make sure to have a bottle of this instant refresher wherever I go. Great for beach holidays where sitting in the sun can do much harm to your skin and heat it up, as well as time spent on long haul flights. And yes, that means sometimes I go out without any makeup to be able to spray this aqua goodness freely!“

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths, SGD13.90

“I’m pretty lazy when I’m overseas and when I’m mostly out for the entire day, the one thing I want to do is just plonk into bed at the end of the day. Which is why, makeup remover wipes come in extremely handy. Leave them by the bedside and I can remove makeup without getting out of bed and do one long ritual. The Cetaphil wipes are really gentle and does not tug on the skin, no matter how heavy your makeup is. Definitely packing these on my next trip!”

Diorskin Nude BB Creme, SGD80

“‘Do you have sunblock on?’ is probably the one question my mom asks most and so it’s been ingrained in me to bring sunblock wherever I travel. But since I want to look good when travelling, I was thinking of choosing my makeup foundation. Thankfully I don’t have to choose between the two with Dior’s BB cream with an SPF that covers any blemishes, protects me from the harmful UV rays and moisturizes my cream.”

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream, SGD41

“The Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream is a must-have when travelling, especially during winter. This miracle cream heals chapped lips, cuts and can even be used on your face to prevent wind burn. I take a small pot with me to heal my dry plane lips so they don’t crack and bleed. Prince Harry reportedly uses it while skiing. If it is good enough for royalty, it’s good enough for me!”

Earplanes, SGD25

“For those who suffer from excruciating earaches due to the large pressure variation during flight landings, have no fear, Earplanes is here! These have helped in relieving the air pressure, and also lessened my dread of the landing process. Also, they act as good earplugs when you’re seated next to or near screaming babies during the flight.”

MBMJ Travel Pouch, SGD129
“One thing I can’t live without is my handy little pouch that houses all my little knick knacks to save them from ever getting lost in the abyss of my tote bag. For travelling, MBMJ’s cosmetic bag is my go-to. It’s extremely lightweight but still large enough for me to stuff all of my essentials. I love how it’s so squishy, which makes it easy to stuff into the tiny pockets of spaces left in my usually stuffed handbag. “
