You have achieved a perfect manicure on one hand. And as always, you end up with the ugliest one on the other! Agathe Pons, Manicure expert and spokesperson at Essie Pro, shares with us her 3 tips to finally succeed in doing perfect manicure using your non-dominant hand.

1. SUPPORT WELL

Support the hand well on a flat surface and with your other hand in order not to tremble when painting on the varnish.

2. TURN THE HAND YOU WANT TO PAINT

Rotate the hand you want to varnish by 45 degrees so that it is in front of the other hand. This minimizes the need for movement of the less skilful hand, and avoids sudden or uncontrolled movements which may result in blotches and mess-ups.

3. TAKE YOUR TIME

Paint your nails in extremely slow strokes. Apply the coat on the entire length of the nail without lifting the brush, from the cuticle to the tip of the nails.
