Our skin is constantly affected by hot and cold weather. If you suffer from dry, flaky areas – follow our advice to achieve silky smooth skin!

With the help of Toni Ionesco, a professional dermatologist – we are here to help solve all your dry (crocodile-like) skin problems.

Good hygiene

Avoid harsh soaps that remove and damage skin cells – if you can, also avoid hot showers that damage the surface of the skin. Opt for a dermatologically-tested facial cleanser or body soap.

Harmful products

Forget facial or body scrubs – especially if they are formulated with glycol or salicylic acid. Exfoliating will certainly remove flakes – but it will damage the rest of your skin. If you can’t go without scrubbing, make sure you use super gentle products that are specially formulated for sensitive or very dry skin – and only do it once every 3 weeks. Instead of using an exfoliating glove, use your hands. Pat yourself dry with a towel – do not rub.

Pro trick

Use an extra amount of body cream around dry areas and folds – such as your neck, elbows, and knees. Let it air-dry before putting on your clothes.

The right routine

Make sure you do this once a day for normal skin – and if you suffer from dry areas, go for twice a day. Remember to always do it after a shower.
Dry skin has a very weak skin barrier – so using products containing harmful ingredients will lead to skin problems such as rashes, redness and acne. Try to use products with natural ingredients.
