Check out our step-by-step guide to recreate the Tracey Reese S/S15 runway look – featuring heavy contouring and stained lips.

Whether it’s day or night – we love a good contour. Ladies, contouring isn’t just for glamourous celebrities anymore – anyone can rock the chiselled look. And despite the rumours, it is quite easy to create, remember, practice makes perfect!

Start off by applying an even base of foundation or tinted moisturiser, if needed, use a primer beforehand to smooth out any unwanted lines and pores. Using Stila’s contour palette, go in with the contour colour that matches your skin tone. If you have darker skin, opt for the deeper shade. If you have pale skin – the lighter shades will do just the trick. Start by figuring out where you want the contour to go – do you want the appearance of a smaller nose? or maybe a slimmer face? the options are endless.

To get the chiselled cheekbones look, suck in your cheeks – then blend the powder just under the line that occurs, blend blend blend till it is seamless! Then apply some product around your forehead and under your jawline. Now it is on to highlighter, apply the luminizer just under your cheekbones, on the bridge of your nose, on your cupids bow and a small bit on your chin.

As for the eyes, keep it simple by applying a base of a champagne cream eyeshadow – then draw on a thin line of eyeliner.

Because there is so much going on in the face, try a lip stain instead of a lipstick.
