To achieve bigger-looking eyes, Maybelline New York unveils a trio of products – mascara, eyeshadow and liners – to do the job!

When it comes to creating eye makeup looks, the one often repeated tip that makeup artists dish out is on how to achieve bigger-looking eyes. Apparently bigger is always better, to which the cosmetics giant, Maybelline, dutifully agrees as it launches a trio of products to front its Big Eyes range.

The star of the range however is none other than their Big Eyes Mascara that boasts of a dual-ended brush. One end of the wand features a normal sized brush for your upper lashes while the other end is a smaller and narrower wand to effectively coat every tiny lash on your lower lids and in the inner corners of your eyes. Additionally, the smaller wand will prevent any unnecessary mascara smudges on the lower lids – no more post makeup clean ups.

Thereafter to create the complete Big Eyes look, dabble with either one of the four eyeshadow palettes that come in rather versatile shades for everyday wear and to really accentuate the big eyes, add a little highlight with the Limited Edition Love Bag Liners. The name itself brings up a point for conversation that essentially relies on the current Japanese and Korean appreciation (or fascination) for eyebags.

So instead of tirelessly attempting to de-puff your eyes, go with the beauty fad and highlight the bags for a much more doleful expression. If you can’t see yourself hopping over to the eyebags camp then you can still use this liner as a highlighter for the inner corner of your eyes – multipurpose products are always great to own in your stash.

Essentially if you use the entire Big Eyes franchise together then it’s pretty much a guarantee that you’ll walk out the door with visually bigger eyes! Now to hypnotise someone on the streets.

The Maybelline Big Eyes range will be available from October 2014 onwards at all Watsons and Guardians
