Walking Picasso: Vivienne Westwood
Vivienne Westwood's birdcage veils-turned-masks gave models an entire facial reconstruction with the abstractly-placed eyes and lips sewn on. If you're planning to go as a Picasso painting, this is the perfect way to make fellow party-goers do a double take.

Dark Geisha: Thom Browne
Thom Browne takes the cake for spookiest runway look. Models looked fierce and intimidating with straight, upturned eyebrows, extremely powdered complexions and black, painted-on rosebud puckers. The inspiration behind the entire collection was apparently taken from Japanese schoolgirls, so it explains the pale skin and geisha-esque lips.

Walk like an Egyptian: The Blonds
Ancient Egyptian beauty was given a remake at the runway show of The Blonds. Known for their extreme, out-there interpretations of fashion, this elaborate beauty look comprising of metallic details and large wigs doesn't come as a surprise. You may want to create your own take on it by purchasing some cheap foil construction paper, snipped into the shapes of the iconic Egyptian symbols and stick under your eyes with eyelash glue.

Fashion Bandit: Vivienne Westwood Red Label
Some gel eyeliner or black eyeshadow is all you need to create this look. Painting it across your temples, eyes and nose may take some time, but as seen on the Vivienne Westwood Red Label runway, it doesn't have to be neat. If you have a black-and-white striped top, you may just have a complete burglar costume.

Modern day Betty Boop: Jeremy Scott
Jeremy Scott's models went down his Spring 2016 runway in oversized wigs and cartoon-like lashes. Were we surprised? Definitely not. He gave us more ideas to get flirty and reminisce our childhood cartoons with this look for Halloween.

Tightly Masked: Gareth Pugh
While it was nothing gory or horror-like, this masked look at Gareth Pugh sure was something to be creeped out by. The ombre stars look like they've been painted around the models' eyes, but upon closer inspection, each model was actually wrapped in a stocking-like rayon material with the artwork drawn on it, complete with red lips and a beauty mark. We don't know how to feel about having a stocking over our faces for a whole night, but it would definitely win best-dressed contests you might go for.

Otherworldly Creature: Prada
Like nothing we've seen before, Pat McGrath did her magic by slathering the lips of Prada's models with this greenish-grey gold lip. A more luxurious take on the typical bionic silver lips, you may want to consider this to match your alien costume.

Daddy Long Legs: Marni
'Spider lashes' are the biggest fear for every makeup enthusiast (meaning clumpy, overcoated and...spider-like) but at Marni, the look was celebrated. Extra-long lash bundles were delicately glued in the centre of the lash lines, creating fluttery yet severe eye looks. A Black Widow costume would go perfectly with this 'minimal' makeup look.

Confetti Party: Ashish
At Ashish, the artists wondered what it would look like to have confetti falling (and sticking) on models' heads. While we don't recommend that you cover your crown in glue in attempts to mimic this look, you may want to consider the fun disco-like finish that it gives on the eyes.

Oil Slick: Threeasfour
Want to go as an oily-skin nightmare for Halloween? Label Threeasfour shows it doesn't look as menacing as it sounds. Instead of literally drenching your skin in oil, place some gloss strategically on your face (cheekbones, ebove the eyebrows, tip of the nose, above the lips, eyelids) for a similar effect.

Grungey Geisha: Olympia Le-Tan
You'll look like an editorial dream as soon as you're done with this beauty look from the runway of Olympia Le-Tan. Take it as a grungey geisha look, thanks to the red eye shadow on the outer corners and heavily kohled lash lines.

Dark Twiggy: Betsey Johnson
If Twiggy went overboard with the eyeshadow and lashes, this is probably what she'll look like. Bring the black eyeshadow from the crease all the way to the nose bridge, and pat on some grey eyeshadow over a nude lipstick to create the perfect cement colour.

Frizzy Witch: Rick Owens
While all eyes were on the human backpacks at Rick Owens, the beauty looks deserve some attention too. The hair was crimped and frizzed to perfection. If you don't have a crimper handy, plan ahead and braid your entire head in sections, leave it overnight, and unravel each braid the next day. Whether you go as an evil witch, a 70's diva or all-around afro lover is up to you.
