Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup, twists the code of the contemporary Dior woman.

Built upon the inspirations of makeup director Peter Philips, the Dior Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2016-17 fashion show featured sweeping eyeliner and understated, natural yet chic makeup looks.

“For this show, we chose to go for a graphic eyeliner. Actually, each girl has an individual eyeliner, almost like a haute couture eyeliner. They are custom-made according to the shape of their eyes. Most of them are black – very graphic.” He goes on to tease that four of the girls were graced with gold eyeliner, a most regal way to bring about luminous and charming looks.

Lips were adorned with Dior’s Lip Glow Pomade for subtly moist and light-reflective pouts. As for the complexion, a simple and natural look was the key theme, with hints of sparkle and shine along the cheekbones.
