From New York to London and Milan to Paris, here are the beauty trends that defined Fall 2018.

Fashion Month, needless to say, has been a whirlwind of sorts. And with Paris Fashion Week officially over, it’s time to look back on our the best hair and beauty trends we spotted throughout the Fall 2018 runways.

From New York to London and Milan to Paris, it’s clear that Fall ’18 is all about that I-didn’t-try-too-hard-with-my-hair-and-makeup it girl aesthetic. Hair was relaxed and purposefully undone; we saw loose relaxed waves in Balmain, that ‘lived-in’ bedhead look in Kenzo and Emporio Armani, and Versace featuring their models embracing their natural curls and ‘fro.

Similarly, the makeup was pared down and minimal; the bold, statement eye was a recurring beauty theme across various designers, whether it was the grungy, intensely smokey looks spotted at Tom Ford or bright, pastel hues at Kenzo. Orange – or tangerine, to be more specific – was also a beauty favourite across the cities (so you might want to pick up on this trend the next time you’re in Sephora!).

Granted, Gucci’s head replicas aren’t necessarily the most wearable or socially acceptable of trends, but rest assured we’ve sussed out the best Fall 2018 runway beauty moments to get you inspired for the season. Scroll through the gallery above!
