Natural waves
mis à jour le 17 August 2015 à 14:23create a naturally wavy hairstyle with a little help from Antoinette Beenders, Aveda’s International Artistic Director.
Seen on the New York runways of Stella McCartney Cruise Collection 2014, the naturally wavy hair never looked so chic and understated. But often, "effortless" is a look that is more difficult to achieve than it seems, especially when you do not have a professional hairdresser at home!
So to help us, Antoinette Beenders, Artistic Director of Aveda, reveals how to recreate the look.
Prepare the hair. Spray Pure Abundance Style Prep to add more body and enhance the volume.
Brush. Make a horizontal separation from the back of the head, at the ear level. Leave the hair at the neck free and use a large round brush to go over the remaining hair.
Finish. Apply Air Control Hair Spray on small sections of hair for a strong but invisible fixing.
Wave each section of the hair with a curler. Release and relax the buckle while gently pulling the tip.
Secure it by spraying Air Control Hair Spray throughout the hair.
Tip from the Pro: To add structure and volume before styling, use Pure Abundance Shampoo and Clay Conditioner.
