Canezou FW15
Dramatic winged liner with red glitter on the lower lash line brought out the almond eyes of the models at the Canezou show. We also love the bright red lipstick!

Enzuvan FW15
Enzuvan brought back the 90s with this big haired look. They certainly put the crimper to good use, putting the hair at centre stage.

Monte Milano FW15
Sweet flower child is what comes to mind when we see this Monte Milano look. The rose head piece atop a banged hairdo brought a youthful appeal to the look. Rosy cheeks and sheer lips added to the cherubic look.

Sono Drs FW15
Loose ponytails and patches of white eyeliner adorned the models of the Sono Drs show. The rest of the face is surprisngly light on makeup with filled brows.

Wnderkammer FW15
Jump on the K-beauty ombre lipstick trend as seen on this model from the Wnderkammer show.

partspARTs FW15
We are loving this bejewelled red lip from the partspARTs show. The hair was kept in romantic waves for a sensual vibe.

Choiboko FW15
Another jewel encrusted dark red lip was seen at the Choiboko runway. The model also wore ring lenses for that doe-eyed look.

Lie Sang Bong FW15
Graphic winged liner and nude lips were de rigueur at the Lie Sang Bong show. Hair was also kept loose with a side part.

Pushbutton FW15
Dewy skin and 60s inspired glossy blue eyeshadow was seen on the Pushbutton runway.

Big Park FW15
The flapper era curls were given a splash of white paint on the Big Park runway. The bejewelled brows held all the attention while the face was left neutral and slightly tan.

We’ve just returned from Seoul Fashion Week (SFW) and boy are we inspired by what we’ve seen on the runway and off. In attendance at SFW were also a multitude of Korean idols, singers and actors such as Yoon Bomi of APink, Sandara Park of 2ne1 and Lee Jungshin of CNBLUE – all of whom were decked to the nines in quirky ensembles and sartorially forward pieces.

Now, beauty wise, ranging from crystal encrusted lips and eyebrows to 90s inspired crimped hair, Korea has proven that they aren’t afraid to stand out in the crowd.

The trend of almost-bare faces and dewy skin continues as seen during other fashion weeks, and complexions were kept simple but flawless, with a light coat of foundation. However, the Koreans took it a step further with bright pops of lipstick and eyeshadow.

We also love that the hairdos that were much more adventurous and fun to watch.

So it’s time to embrace the K-beauty trend (if you haven’t already) and start accentuating your features like a true pop star.
