Seen on the Léonard runway, a side parting is the simplest way to glam up long locks.

“I wanted the hair to be reminiscent of the geometric and structured lines of the Léonard collection,” said the show’s hairstylist, Damien Boissinot about this look. The result: ultra-smooth hair with a low diagonal fringe.

How to achieve it?

Parting the hair: it has to be done all the way from front to back. Start at the outer tip of the eyebrow and join in the middle at the top of the skull.

Locking it in: use hairspray to fix the curve and keep it in place.

Trick from the Pro: to prevent the hair moving while you are fixing it, clip both sides of the hair at the ears, with hairclips wrapped in tissue paper to prevent it leaving a mark on the hair.
