Mysterious and exciting – This summer say hello to the newest scent from British perfumers Penhaligons…

“We do not have a signature but rather a handwriting. We like to tell stories in different ways.”-Meadham Kirchhoff

All perfumaholics beware! When it comes to perfumes, the Penhaligons Meadham Kirchhoff’s perfume Tralala has it down and we think it makes an essential addition to your collection. After six months in the making, Perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour brought Meadham Kirchhoff’s fantastical design universe to life with creation of this exotic concoctionThe sweet yet musky, seductive yet sharp scent will entice your senses and have you wondering what the head notes are long after you apply it. With notes consisting of saffron, whiskey, carnation, vanilla, cedar wood and supple leather the perfume will leave you longing for more.

At first spritz the perfume gives off a strong, overpowering scent. However, as it sinks into the skin the perfume softens, becomes more feminine and offers a breath of floral air. At first thought, the unusual mix of ingredients sound a bit daunting-but it is due to this mix that the perfume comes out so mysterious and oh so exciting! For us at Marie France Asia, we see this perfume as a business-esque perfume. Looking to ace that job interview but don’t know what perfume screams “I want this job, hire me”?- well this perfume will be right up your alley.

The bottle and packaging which is specially designed by Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff  is stunning, replicating a piece of art. The jewellery box-inspired packaging with intricate detailing will add a glamorous touch to anyone’s vanity table.

Although Tralala isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, if you enjoy walking into a room and having all eyes on you- go out and give this perfume a sniff! You can thank us later.

Penhaligons X Meadham Kirchhoff’s  Tralala (approx. USD287) will be available online at penhaligons.com from May 2014, and at Penhaligons  stores from June 2014.
