Katy Perry revealed as the new face of Moschino
Considering how often she walks the red carpet in Moschino, we’ve all been expecting it. But now it’s finally official: Katy Perry is the new face of the label’s latest campaign.
What isn’t going well for Katy Perry right now? She’s officially made up with boyfriend John Mayer in a recent Disneyland date, her Dark Horse MV has just surpassed a billion views to become the second most-watched video on Vevo’s history (the first being Justin Bieber’s Baby), and she has just been revealed as the new – and first celebrity – face of Moschino.
The starlet excitedly took to Instagram to announce the news with the first campaign photo of herself striking a seductive pose in a ’90s denim patchwork jacket, golden bralet, and black pencil skirt, complete with thick gold chains. And given her frequent red carpet appearances in Moschino creations – and her long-time support for Moschino’s creative director, Jeremy Scott since his debut collection – their collaboration should come as no surprise.
Seeing that Perry’s outfit was from the Italian fashion house’s Autumn/Winter 2015 collection, it is not available as of yet, but be sure to anticipate similar ’90s inspired denim pieces when Scott’s collection lands in stores. In the mean time, we’re more than happy to revel in Perry’s sultry gaze.
