It is rumored that Louis Vuitton is preparing a new, exceptional collection!
The famous leather goods brand has asked six creatives to revisit and redesign their famous Monogram bag.
The canvas and leather bag (made from a flower pattern, and stylized letters arranged geometrically), created by Georges Vuitton in 1896, has been changed and renewed throughout the years. And given the upcoming cast – the result is not likely to disappoint us!
The team includes: Christian Louboutin, Cindy Sherman (photographer and director), Frank Gehry (architect), Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Newson (jeweller) and Rei Kawakubo (designer) … all of whom have the mission to re-invent the iconic monogram bag by bringing in their special style and skills combined with the original bold features.
These limited edition bags will be available in selected Louis Vuitton stores, from mid-October 2014.
