Giambattista Valli unveils lipstick collection for MAC

The lipstick collaboration we’ve been waiting for is on its way! Dress your lips in any of Giambattista Valli’s five floral inspired shades to suit your summer look.
We already know MAC makes some of the best lipsticks in the world and their track record for creative collaborations with big name designers, artists and celebrities are unrivalled in the beauty industry. Now, the latest big name to join the likes of Lady Gaga, Damien Hirst and Rihanna is Italian fashion designer Giambattista Valli.
Known for his floral-inspired dresses and love for vibrant colours, the designer created a new line of lipsticks for MAC inspired by his frocks from past collections. The flamboyant Italian who’s dressed A-listers like Amal Clooney and Lena Dunham channelled his floral aesthetics into five vibrant matte lipsticks that range in hue from pale pink to brooding, dark cherry reds.
Valli didn’t just stop there. He also released a clear, high-shine crystal gloss that turns five lipsticks into ten. And for the first time ever, MAC colour-matched the packaging to the lipstick bullets so you know exactly what colour you’re grabbing right from the get-go. Can we get a round of applause for the sheer ingenuity of Giambattista Valli please?
