Seems like technology is now it’s making its way into the beauty world as well!

After recently introducing the latest nail colours for Spring 2014, we now want to share with you a fancy crowd-funding project dedicated to enhancing the look of your nails – by using technology.

The project, which is set up by Los Angeles-based Angel Anderson and Sarah Heering is called NailSnaps: an app that can turn your Smartphone pictures into nail stickers which you can apply by yourself, in a few minutes.

How does it work?

1. After downloading the free NailSnaps mobile app, you can choose your photo or image and decide how you want it to appear on your nails. You can adjust the pattern to fit your needs, so it can be either the entire photo/image across your nails, or different parts of the photo/image for each finger.

2. Once you choose a design you love, the high-quality nail stickers are printed and shipped right to your doorstep from the manufacturing facility in Los Angeles.

3. Afterwards, all you need is to trim and apply your NailSnaps stickers. The entire process is very easy and takes just a few minutes since there is no drying time, heating, or waiting.

If you’re anything like us, you’ll definitely want to have your own vibrant design on your nails, and why not matching your every outfit? The company is still looking for backers on Kickstarter so they can reach their goal of $47,381 by April the 1st. Like the idea? You can help them finalize the brilliant app and print production facilities here.
