The brand’s Marula range embraces the hydrating and protective properties of exotic Marula oil, an ingredient that works tirelessly to slow down the causes of aging, such as loss of elasticity and parched skin. Working with fair trade organization The Leakey Foundation to provide work opportunities and a source of independent income for women in East Africa, the precious Marula oil is wild-harvested and processed by the local Maasai women in Kenya.
As part of their initiative to aid in the education of children in Kenya, Luxe Botanics’ also covers costs for materials and resources such books, shoes and uniforms every time a product from the Marula range is purchased.
