We can always trust our favourite British botanical brand to deliver exquisite gift sets for the holiday season.
Christmas is never complete without a bounty of any sort but a bounty of indulgent beauty products, biscuits and tea sounds more like the many gifts we’re eagerly expecting to receive.
From a whole selection of evocative scents – familiar and new – to rich lotions and soaps, it’d be easy to lose yourself in the Crabtree & Evelyn store whilst browsing through the Christmas 2014 collection. So much so that you may forget your original intention in the store – to shop for gifts. We don’t blame you either because packaged with a theatrical theme in mind, the range of gift sets simply beckon you in to discover what lies inside.
Before you lose bearings though, know that the Christmas collection is essentially divided into two – the perennial favourite, Noel collection and a limited edition Hollyberry selection – alongside beautifully repackaged favourites from the brand. While the scent for Noel is a warm and welcoming blend of fresh balsams, perisimon and citrus fused with spicy star anise, clove and nutmeg, the fruity and spicy Hollyberry fragrance captures the magic of the winter season with notes of red currant, coriander, fig, nutmeg and precious frankincense.
As you’re getting reeled in from the smells, this year, we’d suggest picking up the wind-up musical tin boxes filled with the brand’s luxurious Hand Therapy creams – choose from a huge tin of 12 or a smaller one of 6. If that still seems too much then a smaller 3-pack case would be just ideal.
While you’re there, also be sure to pick up a little something for the tummy. Festive food, by way of biscuits, jam and tea, in true English style never fails to lull us into the mood for Christmas. Our personal favourite being the new flavour of biscuits, Honey & Oat – prepare yourself for some sheer Christmas magic in your mouth.
