Looking for the perfect dessert(s) to end your Christmas feast? Elegant, delicious and decadent – gather your loved ones and share these delectable festive treats Singapore has to offer.

1 - PatisserieG - hazelnut chocolate cream log cake

Patisserie G

Helmed by Singaporean Chef, Gwen Lim, Patisserie G is probably one of the best French pastry boutiques in Singapore. Trained in France, she whips up traditional French pastries like a true Parisian Saint Honoré alongside her own creations that are influenced by her travels. Created with premium ingredients, indulge in two bûches de Noël (SGD58 and SGD90). Our favourite is the caramel chocolate mousse with a rich decadent chocolate cream log cake filled with hazelnut praline. Joyeux Noël!

2-Chef Yamashita-X'Mas Santa

Chef Yamashita

Chef Yamashita is one of the most popular Japanese pastry chefs in the region. Located on the second floor of Tanjong Pagar Plaza, his lovely boutique is a little heaven for sweet lovers. His sheer dedication and work is reflected in his generous and delicate pastry offerings where everything is hand-made with special attention to detail. All Japanese ingredients are flown directly from Japan. By beautifully mastering the art of Japanese and French pâtisserie, he unveils four kinds of cakes this Christmas. A classic chocolate sponge and peaches bûche de Noël, two squares of Christmas cakes flavoured with green tea and red bean cream, and for the second with Japanese chestnuts. In Japan, the most popular festive cake is Ichigo Santa, featuring a soft sponge cake with strawberries.

Prices start at SGD42. To order, call 6604 9709 or email [email protected]

3-HenriCharpentier - Bonheur de Noel

Henri Charpentier

With the arrival of the much-anticipated Japanese Henri Charpentier dessert salon and shop in Singapore, we can now head towards Dempsey to order their Bonheur de Noël festive cake. The sponge cake comes beautifully decorated with white whipped cream, strawberries and raspberry mushrooms (SGD90). Incidentally, the snowy appearance will also add a quaint touch of winter to your Christmas dinner table. And while you’re there to collect your order, sneak a peek at the pastry kitchen – always a nice scene to watch.

4- SweetSpot - Cramelised Apple Yule Log

SweetSpot

SweetSpot at Marina Bay Sands has prepared a galore of delicacies this season. Round up you Christmas dinner with three luscious cake logs (SGD65). Either go traditional with the chocolate chestnut church yule log, or exotic with a mascarpone cheese mango. Our recommendation, especially if you are invited to a dinner, is to bring the elegantly wrapped caramelized apple bûche de Noël. It will perfectly cap off your meal with its spiced chocolate sponge cake, caramelized apple and milk chocolate mousse covered with caramel glaze that is luxuriously topped off with a delicate chocolate golden ribbon. Now this is how you give a lasting and sparkling impression.
