Helen Downie
Fifty-year-old Instagram artist Helen Downie shot to fame when Gucci invited her to create paintings inspired by its Cruise Collection show in New York, and has since gone on to be commissioned by magazines like Harper's Bazaar.
The mother of four only started painting two years ago, as a creative outlet to battle breast cancer, which she eventually posted on Instagram. Her following has since grown to over 200,000 followers - and deservedly so.
