Cara Delevingne’s silver screen debut prompts us to look at the many famous faces in Hollywood who got their start on the fashion runways.
Fans of British supermodel Cara Delevingne will be eager to catch her in cinemas this July when she makes her silver screen debut in Paper Towns, the movie adaptation based on John Green’s best-selling novel of the same name. Better known as Cara the model, the 23 year old has never been shy about her aspirations to conquer Hollywood. While we’re yet to see if her acting chops match her catwalk stomp, she certainly isn’t the first model to make the transition from runway to big screen.
It’s no surprise that some of the most famous faces in showbiz today actually started off as models, their good looks no doubt helping ease the transition and open many doors for them in this looks obsessed industry. We do hope Cara’s acting career turns out just as successful as these 10 other models-turned-actresses.
