Healer
A K-drama thriller that had us on the edge of our seats, Healer tells a story about a group of friends who run an illegal broadcasting station in the 1980s but a betrayal occurs within the group that sends them on a different path from their ideal.
One becomes a top notch night errand boy, another an amateur reporter and the other a star journalist at a top station. Together they work towards solving the mystery that occured back then.

Pinocchio
After a family has been torn apart by an unscrupulous reporter, the descendants try to move on with their lives only to cross paths with a girl with Pinnochio syndrome - telling lies causes her to hiccup - that turns out to be that reporter's child.

The drama takes place in the world of journalism where the lines of fact and fiction frequently get blurred.

Those who love romance would love this series. A third-generation trust-fund baby suffers a traumatic childhood experience that causes his personality to fragment into 7 different identities. A first year psychology student tries to help him but falls in love with him in the process.

Hyde, Jekyll, Me
This fun and atypical love story focuses on a rich brat that has it all. He is cold and calculating but he suffers from a dissociative personality disorder where kinder identity emerges when his heartrate increases to above 150. As he meets this girl who works for his family's circus troupe, his kinder identity appears more frequently and she falls in love with his identity, much to his frustration.

Hijinks, ensue.

My Love from the Stars
An oldie but a goodie, this show propelled actor Kim Soo Hyun to stardom. This sci-fi love story tells the tale of an alien who falls in love with a human in the Joseon Dynasty only to lose her when she dies trying to save him. He isolates himself while waiting to return home but meets a girl that looks just like his late love in modern day Korea.

Based in the studios of KBS, this show takes you to the fictional behind-the-scenes look at what goes on during a production of a typical Korean variety series. This show also stars Kim Soo Hyun from My Love From The Stars. Think of it as 30 Rock, Korean style.

Running Man
Well, this is not a drama. But the Korean version of the Amazing Race has the world enthralled with their silly missions to avoid punishment or to win prizes. Actress Song Ji Hyo who gained popularity in the drama Goong way back when, is also part of this crew.

If you like time warp dramas, you'll love Faith. It tells the story of a modern day plastic surgeon who gets kidnapped and travelled 700 year back in time to the Goryeo Period where she falls in love with the head of royal guards played by actor Lee Min Ho.

Korean dramas have us glued to our screens for hours on end. There’s nothing we like more than to binge watch a few episodes at one go during the weekends.

Gone are the days of boy meets girl, falls in love with girl and they turn out to be brother and sister type of Korean dramas. Now it’s all fantastical with aliens, time travel, amazing detective skills and of course, handsome actors.

We also love taking cues regarding hair and wardrobe options from the dramas while we’re busy crying our eyes out because Lee Min Ho was wounded in front of his lady love.

Anyway, we managed to tear ourselves away from the screen long enough to tell you what has us hooked.
