By collaborating with 32 photographers, Moncler unveiled a stunning exhibition that celebrates the iconic Maya jacket through various eyes.

Fashion and art are indescribably intertwined, so much so that it’s almost expected for fashion brands or designers to work with artists across various fields to deliver something thought provoking and downright intriguing.

This time we have Moncler, known for their outerwear, bringing the iconic Maya jacket to the forefront by collaborating with 32 photographers in a brilliant exhibition. What resulted was the private Art For Love exhibition that took place during New York Fashion Week on 11 September at The New York Public Library. After which a silent auction for the pieces was held and all proceeds were entirely donated to amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research.

Remo Ruffini, President of Moncler said, “I am very proud to be alongside amfAR once again and to contribute through Moncler to raising funds for the project ‘Countdown to a Cure’, the aim of which is to find a cure for AIDS by 2020. The progress that has been obtained in the fields of research, prevention and education thanks to amfAR reinforces my enthusiasm for our involvement in this incredible cause.”

Traverse through the exhibition space and you’ll essentially be put on quite the emotive journey with photographs from some world renown photographers like Patrick Demarchelier, Inez and Vinoodh, Annie Leibovitz, Peter Lindbergh, Steven Meisel, David Sims, Bruce Weber and many others. Each one of them have spun their own distinct world and vision to the Moncler duvet jacket, thereby bringing viewers into their unique way of seeing.

Flip through the gallery and you’ll see exactly what we mean by distinct works of art, yet cohesively strung together with one unifying theme of love.
