Ending world hunger is a lofty aspiration but not one that could not be entirely dealt with. Michael Kors for instance has been on a mission to do exactly that with his ‘Watch Hunger Stop’ campaign that kickstarted back in 2013. Since its inception, it’s reported that Michael Kors has now officially delivered over 10 million meals to hungry children worldwide. All of which comes from sale of his specially designed Michael Kors 100 Series watch where every sale will result in 100 meals delivered through the World Food Programme (WFP).

Now officially named as the United Nations World Food Programme Global Ambassador Against Hunger, Michael Kors is more determined as ever to raise awareness for the project. Together with Kate Hudson, the pair will be launching two new limited edition styles of the Bradshaw 100 watch come October. Ever sale will similarly deliver the same pledge of meals to WFP.

“As a mother, I can’t think of anything more important than raising a healthy and educated generation of children, and WFP’s School Meals Program is committed to exactly that. This is a cause that I’m eager to be a part of because I believe we can all make a real and significant difference, ” said Kate Hudson of the collaboration.

Kudos to Michael Kors for making an effort to make the world a better place!

The Bradshaw 100 watches (SGD489) will be available exclusively in Michael Kors stores worldwide from October. Till then you can purchase the Michael Kors 100 Series watches (approx. SGD405) here.
