In a viral video by Cut, a stunning model is transformed by a team of professional hairdressers and makeup artists to depict the staple beauty looks from the early 1900s to the early 2000s.
From the piled-on hair of the well-known Gibson girl to the selfie-ready ‘no makeup’ makeup look of today, watch as the team sweeps through a vast library of aesthetic ideals from decade to decade. The video recently sent social media into quite a frenzy, seeking well over 19 million views since its debut on Youtube last month.
While we love the all of the makeup looks shown in the video, we can’t help but be drawn to the old Hollywood glamour of the 1930s and the perfectly teased hair of the 1970s.
