Robinsons x SG50: Department store celebrates 50 years as style icon

Along with an illustrated fashion campaign, Robinsons has got exciting activities lined up to commemorate 50 years of fashion in Singapore.
Robinsons, the one-stop shopping destination well-regarded by many Singaporeans is celebrating its 50 years as a style icon with a host of exciting activities lined up to commemorate the milestone.
The landmark celebration coincides with the momentous SG50 and Robinsons seeks to tell its story through hand drawn illustrations by local artist Tang Wei. Going with the theme “She Followed Her Heart” the story depicts a young lady who embodies the ethos and style of each decade from the Swinging 60s to The Fabulous 70s right through to The Extraordinary 2015.
Visitors to the Robinsons event will also be treated to a spectacular outdoor “Fashion Show of the Decades” by Singapore’s most prominent fashion director Daniel Boey. The showcase is sure to take you down memory lane as models present looks that represent a timeline of the country’s evolving style from 1965 to the present. At hand to entertain the crowd will be Jive Talking and 53A who will be belting out classics through the eras.
Adding to the festivities will be a slew of irresistible promotions and activities for customers to enjoy a good time while they shop.
