September is around the corner and all you sports enthusiast know what that spells: Formula 1. With the excitement of Grand Prix Season comes an endless string of parties to see and be seen at. And when it comes to glitz and glamour, nothing quite trumps The Podium Lounge, an epic three-day party (from 18 – 20 September) at the exquisite Grand Ballroom of The Ritz-Carlton Millenia. Set to be transformed into a glamorous ultra lounge featuring Singapore’s largest pop-up island bar, a dizzying overhead catwalk and VIP balconies, guest will offered quite the magical party experience with the racing community.
This year’s extravaganza, the 6th edition yet since 2009, is expected to be just as over-the-top with a star studded line-up of celebrities such as former Formula 1 Driver and Fox Sports Asia commentator Alex Yoong who will be joined by E! News Asia hosts to interview celebrities, supermodels, ambassadors, royalty and Asia’s most glamorous personalities on the red carpet.

To kick off Opening Night of The Podium Lounge, headliner DJ Kristian Nairn (aka Hodor from Game of Thrones) will be taking over the turntables, followed by Mark Doyle (creator of Hed Kandi) and the Fierce Angel Collective the following day, which features London’s most sought-after celebrity saxophonist Lady V and Cuban percussionist Pablo Calzado on the drums.
Aside from top-notch musical entertainment, guests can also look forward to international models strutting the venue’s custom-built skywalk at the nightly Fashion Circuit in collections from both established and emerging designers from around the world. A live auction will give visitors a chance to take home prized items including a Michael Schumacher hand-signed full size Ferrari Race Suit among other other keepsakes.
Clearly, The Podium Lounge has gone to great lengths to ensure that an epic 3-day extravaganza awaits us and what can we say, you’re certainly not going to want to miss the hottest A-list party in town this September!
