Singapore International Jazz Festival & The Late Show 2018
When: 6 April – 8 April

Where: Marina Bay Sands

Why: This is the fifth time the Singapore International Jazz Festival (SING JAZZ) is set to rock our island. It will be featuring 30 hours of live music by award-winning music legends like Lalah Hathaway, Parov Stelar, Jamie Cullum and Incognito among many others. Try not to miss the late show that will happen after the festival on the 6^th and 7^th, where you can listen to your favourite jazz tunes all night and into wee hours of the morning. World Gourmet Summit 2018
When: 2 April - 29 April

Where: Various locations

Why: Foodies, rejoice! Here’s your chance at tasting world-class food right here in Singapore. The theme for this year is “The Discovery WGS”, which means that you will get to try out less explored cuisines from around the world prepared by a lineup of top-notch masterchefs. Thick Beats for Good Girls

Where: Checkpoint Theatre

Why: Have you been a good girl? This is what Thick Beats for Good Girls will be exploring. A daring collaboration between performance-poet Pooja Nansi and playwright Jessica Bellamy, this performance will provoke you to ask yourself questions like “What makes someone a good girl?” and “Can a good girl ever let loose?” through music and poetry. Expect to walk out of the theatre with a fresh perspective of womanhood and life. More information here.

Discover Egg-citing Easter with Peter Rabbit
When: 24 March – 15 April

Where: Jurong Bird Park

Why: Parents and children, take note. Peter Rabbit has hopped into our very own Jurong Bird Park and is looking forward to meeting you. Catch him up-close away from the big screen and click some pictures before setting on a trip across his vegetable garden. Mithunam: A duet in Carnatic vocal

Why: Brought to you by leading South Indian classical music exponents and sister-duo Ranjani- Gayatri, Mithunam is set to be a musical conversation steeped in creativity yet at the same time grounded in traditionalism. Ranjani and Gayatri are not only accomplished vocalists but are also terrific violinists. Year after year, they have managed to keep their audiences all around the world fascinated with their mesmerising performances. Above and Beyond interactive flight exhibition

Where: Science Centre Singapore

Why: Above and Beyond has actually been happening since last year but if you haven’t heard of it, this is your last chance to check it out. The exhibition is about cutting-edge technologies used in the aerospace field.
