Why: Short films, sketches, and comedic shorts--your favorite filmmakers you grew up watching will be in town for a limited time to screen a session of their recent feature film that you help fund!

Is it Christmas Yet?

Why: If you can't wait till Christmas, head down for this little pre-Christmas party filled with rein-beers and eggnog! And while you're at it, there's no harm in picking out more gifts for yourself and loved ones!

Silent Night

Why: The inaugural Silent Night - A Hush Hush Festive Weekend is the first of The Gallery Experience and will feature Silent Yoga classes (19th) led by TV presenter and yoga instructor Liv Lo alongside yoga instructor Shu Ting, and Silent Disco sessions in the mall (20th) led by the DJs of POPTART.

Verve – An Arts Festival

Why: Verve is a dynamic youth-based celebration of the arts. 2015 marks the 5th edition of Verve, Kaleidoscope, which celebrates the myriad of perspectives in the arts. Expect a showcase of art and collaborative works from emerging and established local artists of various genres in an explosion of music, dance, theatre, literary and visual arts.

Why: Fresh! presents Homemade - a series of pop-up parties with the pairing of their signature cocktails and homemade grub with a Singaporean twist brought to you by foodie duo, #2DFM.

Sip & Shop at Naiise Telok Ayer

Where: 167/ 169 Telok Ayer Street

Why: 'Tis the season to shop locally! Finish up your holiday shopping by coming to Naiise's pop up shop at Telok Ayer, now 'til 24 December!

Naiise started as an online shop meant to make great design affordable for every one. They have a few shops around the island, though most are only there for a few months. Expect to find uniquely Singaporean fashions, accessories, and homewares.

Back for the third year, the annual Santa Claus conference returns bigger and brighter to the sunny shores of Singapore! Stella Artois presents Santacon 2015 stretches from one end of Club Street to the other with revellers stopping at partner outlets and taking part in numerous activities such as The SantaHunt and The Last Stag Standing, along the way for a mirth, merry-making and many great drink deals and numerous prizes to be won!

The Friendliest Death Match

Why: Improv comedy at the hippest joint in town? Say whaaat? In keeping with the mood of the holidays, The Latecomers are hosting the “Friendliest Death Match”, where two groups of improvisers duke it out on the spot. Who is left standing? Why is this held so close to Christmas? Where are my pants? So many questions and not enough space to adequately answer them all! See the poster for more details!

From SantaCon to Christmas shopping and a bunch of other exhibitions and talks, it’s officially the start of a merry time.

With all the Christmas songs playing stores, cafes and shopping malls – pretty much anywhere – and the countless of decorations, let’s just say we’re officially in the yuletide spirit. There’s no escaping it.

So this week, either let out your festive mood in full swing with SantaCon at Club Street or indulge in more Christmas shopping at Naiise and Gallery & Co – there could never be too many gifts especially with the alluring markdowns.
