The Beach Backyard

Pool Party BBQ at HI-SO

River Nights 2016

Where: Singapore River, Civic District
Why: One of Singapore’s most anticipated arts festivals is back this weekend, and the next, bringing with it 4 dazzling nights of creative performances and cross-cultural collaborations along the Singapore River. The theme for this year’s festival is “Phantasmagoria”, which will see a blending of old and new art forms. Various overseas communities including Japan, the Philippines, and the US will be participating in this grand cultural exchange that celebrates diversity and creativity. Tiki Taane – Live in Singapore

October reaches its climax as the likes of pool parties and beachside fiestas come splashing to life.

Need to brighten up your weekend and have a ball of a time in sunny Singapore? Perhaps a beach party on Sentosa Island will be just the thing to pump some life into your Sunday – join the crowd at Sand Bar’s The Beach Backyard fiesta and fill your afternoon with great live music, lip-smacking foods, and fun games for both the adults and the kids, all by the beachside. Speaking of live music, have your fill of bass-thumping DJ beats over at the Pool Party BBQ at Hi-SO on Saturday. There’s nothing like cooling off in the summer heat with a drink in hand and a buzzing crowd of like-minded revelers.

Singapore’s highly-anticipated River Nights festival is back, and it’s bringing a grand lineup of dance performances, light shows, art installations and much more, which will no doubt liven up the Singapore River in the coming days.
