Skechers Sundown Festival

Where: Marina Promenade, F1 Pit Area
Why: Held annually, this festival celebrates the Asian entertainment scene. The line-up consists of a handful of Asian acts from Singapore to Japan such as Epik High, Inkt, Potato and Caracal.

M1 CONTACT Contemporary Dance Festival

Why: The M1 CONTACT festival is presenting seven platforms with seasoned choreographers as well as budding young dancers the dancers converge.

Why: Sneaker lovers shouldn’t miss this sneaker and streetwear convention held at local superclub Zouk. Founded by Dexter Tan and Jonathan Fong, their passion project has turned into a premiere event for sneaker-heads.

Beauty World

Where: 9 Empress Place, Victoria Theatre
Why: Debuting in 1988, Beauty World has been restaged multiple times and have even had a successful tour in Japan. Set in the glamourous 60s, the musical tells the story of an ingénue who enters the sleazy world of cabaret hoping to find her long-lost father.

National Gallery Singapore Opening Ceremony

Where: 1 St. Andrew Road, National Gallery Singapore
Why: The National Gallery is finally facing their highly anticipated opening after years of refurbishing the former Supreme Court and City Hall. The museum will be home to a host to the largest public collection of South East Asian art pieces.

AFROJAM 2015
