If you’re no big fan of face masks in paste-form, then we might have just found something to make you change your mind!

When it comes to masks, slathering on a paste has always seemed like a messy affair so understandably we’ve kept a safe distance. That is until we plucked up some courage and bared our faces for Eslor’s Comforting Mask. The name was comforting us to some point, or so we would like to think!

The creamy green paste applies rather smoothly and does not harden to the point of cracking or even leave a notorious trail in the house. Packed with a chock load of natural marine extracts, vitamins and minerals, the mask is a deep cleansing weapon indeed. While Kaolin improves circulation and fights inflammation, the antioxidant Ginseng extract effectively brightens your complexion and prevents signs of aging.

While there may be a slight tingly feeling upon application, it is nothing to be cautious about. Leave the mask on for 10 to 15 minutes and as you wash it off with warm water, give your face a massage in circular motions. After rinsing, our complexion did not feel tight but instead felt plump as a petal and thoroughly clean – so clean that we didn’t want to layer any other product on top. Recommended for normal to oily skin types, this mask is gentle, refreshing and yet does the work of heavy duty cleansing. If you have dry or dehydrated skin, then you could put on the mask for two or three times a week and your skin will feel adequately hydrated through the added almond oil.

We say, let your daily worries slide, indulge in this mask after a long work day and bask in the softer, radiant after glow. It’s definitely worth getting your fingers messy!

Eslor Comforting Mask (approx. USD38) is available online.
