Agra, India

“Apart from shoes, I usually find it hard to pick my favourite travel destinations as well. Having been to over 35 countries – and still counting – travel is by far the ultimate hobby for me.

But big cities and odd destinations aside (yes, I’ve been to plenty of those), one of my overall favourite countries to spend a holiday in has to be India.

From the stunning and colourful Jaipur, busy and cosmopolitan Mumbai to gritty and ‘real’ Delhi and peaceful Goa – there is nothing that you can’t experience in this billion-people strong country. It is always surprising, never boring and I don’t think I’d ever want to stop exploring it, one region at a time.

My favourite experience there has to be visiting the Taj Mahal. Yes, it’s a cliché you may say, but standing in front of the stunning white marble mausoleum is guaranteed to give anyone goosebumps and make them believe in love. “

Punjab, India

“As someone whose life mission is to travel every corner of the world – from big cities to small villages, it wouldn’t come as a surprise that my daily to-do is scour the net for affordable travel tickets. Ultimately though, I always find joy in returning to Punjab in the North of India. No matter how many times I’ve been there, there’s always a new experience to be had. From living in villages, trekking up the mountains for natural hot springs, bouncing up and down in rickshaw rides, to stocking up on exquisite traditional wear and visiting the magnificent Golden Temple, I’d head back there in a heartbeat.”

Rocky’s Restort, Koh Samui, Thailand

“Small, serene and away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Rocky’s Resort is mine, and my family’s go-to holiday destination. On a short two hour flight from Singapore, Rocky’s Resort has everything I could ever want – from a private beach, to large, spacious rooms and the best food selection. Overlooking the ocean, Rocky’s boutique resort is perfect for families or couples looking to go on a romantic escapade. Enjoy a private massage on the beach or a fun bonfire night can arranged by the lovely hotel staff.

Koh Samui is a calm city full of culture. From amazing tourist attractions to the fun nightlife, water sports and great shopping, this island has everything I could possibly want for in a holiday and more.”

London, England

“London will always hold a special place in my heart. There was just something about the unassuming cobblestoned pavements and brick walls that stood tall and proud of its rich history and culture which made sauntering around an intimate and romantic affair. When night falls, London transforms into a psychedelic landscape dotted by an infinite number of lights across the city which, if I may say so, looks almost magical. Aesthetics aside, the city is basically brimming with the arts and fashion, making it my number one holiday destination of all time.”

Mexico

“My favourite holiday destination wow, this is tough! If it has to be a place I’ve already been to then I’ll say Mexico. Whether it’s going up north to the chillier mountaineous parts, or the famous party beaches – playa del carmen and the like, or around Queretato, Guadalajara and even Mexico City, experiencing every cultural aspect of the colourful nation, Mexico is a country of wonders.”

Morocco

“From the idyllic Mediterranean landscape, to immense fine sandy beaches, to sweeping deserts, Morocco’s diversity is unlimited. Plus people are warm and friendly, the food is incredibly mouth-watering, and I love their colorful souks full of beautiful fabrics, ethnic jewelry and accessories! It’s truly my favorite destination.

Did you know? Many scenes from Game of Thrones were filmed in the Moroccan desert just outside of the city of Ouarzazate.”

Teahupoo, Tahiti Island

It’s a small village of surfers at the South point on Tahiti Island. It looks like a pile up of a few colourful shacks, where everyone surfs, share their food and play music all day – essentially a hippie village frozen in time. Moreover, it’s one of the best surf spot in the world with one of the most dangerous wave. There are frequently famous surfers who come here to risk their lives trying to ride the wave. And that is why whenever I’m there everything seems to say ‘Life is better in Teahupoo’“.
