All it took was one sneakily planned Instagram video (first post on the platform) of a basketball scoreboard counting down to reveal the next designer collaboration with Swedish giant, H&M. Confirming everyone’s excitement, the designer that joins the ranks of H&M designer collaborations is the New York based, Alexander Wang – first time an American designer is on board.

Not only is Wang a designer for his eponymous label, he’s also heading the role of creative director at Balenciaga and the road can only get better with this collaboration.

Favoured for his constant re-evaluation of the urban aesthetic, the Alexander Wang x H&M line up will include apparel and accessories for both men and women, to be launched in 250 stores worldwide.

“I am honoured to be a part of H&M’s designer collaborations. The work with their team is an exciting and fun process. They are very open to push boundaries and to set a platform for creativity. This will be a great way for a wider audience to experience elements of the Alexander Wang brand and lifestyle,” said Wang.

The collection is slated to launch on November 6th. Let the guessing begin!
