Do you remember the dress that the Gossip Girl star Blake Lively wore to the 2013 Los Angeles premiere of the movie Savages? Well, the stunning gown – from Spring 2012 Haute Couture collection – by famous Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad has been recreated in miniature for Barbie!
It’s not the first time that Mattel’s iconic plastic doll has her own Haute Couture gown. Actually, she has inspired more than 150 fashion houses since her creation in 1959. And now the lucky blond has her own Haute Couture dress in nude silk and tulle with black geometric patterned beadwork made by Zuhair Murad himself.
For those who can’t yet afford a real dress of a famous fashion designer, you can always buy the limited-edition Barbie doll – only 6400 pieces made – for $75.
