Bianca Brandolini takes us underwater for submarine-inspired jewellery experience.
Channelling a tropical underwater theme, Bianca Brandolini’s latest capsule collection with Amsterdam Sauer is not to be missed.
At the launch party in Paris, the exquisite pieces were arranged in fish tanks, and placed on coral rocks with brightly coloured fish setting the tone. The passionate jeweller used white and blue opals, diamonds and pearls to project a “shimmering translucence”.
Brandolini took organic pearls and worked them into black-gold oyster rings that feature tiny, iridescent diamonds. A unique material, Labradorite is used in artsy rings to give off a moody vibe – changing colours depending on the surroundings.
The 32-piece-collection has a key ingredient, free-shaped opals. Used in a vintage-looking set of bracelets, rings and earrings that feature a touch of beautiful amethyst.
