Britney Spears to launch a lingerie line!
After many successful fragrances, the queen of pop announces her venture in creating her first line of lingerie. Here’s a first look on what to expect in September.
Britney Spears is at the head of an empire of products, among which fragrances are top sellers worldwide.
A must for any self-respecting star , the pop princess has thirteen fragrances under her belt, and is very soon launching the latest one entitled “Fantasy Stage Edition”. Pretty good business, as global sales of her perfumes represent no less than one billion dollars, and a gross revenue of two billion dollars just in the United States.
This time the experienced entrepreneur is moving forward to create a line of lingerie called “The Intimate Collection” .
Britney herself announced the news on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to her millions of followers -along with the first picture to give us a taste of what to expect. It reveals in fact a tasteful and sexy-looking bra and briefs set in black silk.
The line will consist of a range of feminine underwear sets and other loungewear including tops, kimonos and jersey camisoles.
Britney tells the UK’s Glamour magazine that “Every woman should feel confident and beautiful in everything she puts on.” hence the decision to embark on this journey She says that “[her] vision for The Intimate Britney Spears is to create pieces that are sexy, luxurious, and comfortable at the same time. [She is] very excited to introduce this collection because [she] feel that [they have] accomplished exactly that.”
The line will be at affordable prices (approx. USD16 to USD80) and will be sold in selected department stores in the US and Europe, and online at ASOS for one month starting on September 26.
