Classic, elegant and exceptionally wearable, the latest collection by the American brand is no doubt one for the keeps.
Carolina Herrera’s main line is usually one filled with promises of a romantic night as you elegantly saunter around in a sophisticated and charming gown or dress. As for the diffusion, CH Carolina Herrera line, the ethereal dreams are turned down just a smidge so as to allow you to effortlessly transpose those one-of-a-kind nights into your daily routine.
Filled with sleek, minimalistic and loose-fitting silhouettes, the Spring/ Summer 2015 collection for the New York-based brand is one that’s basically perfect for the office. From the contrasting use of prints, to floaty silks and the occasional addition of structure and form, the line up offers an ideal amalgamation of texture without compromising on lightness and its sense of fragility.
While earthy shades of beige and sand and monochrome black and white dominates the colour palette, the injections of vibrant emerald green and cool blues, without forgetting the signature Herrera red, added a brilliant exuberance. As for the pieces we love, the shift dresses are what we would dream of floating about in everyday but the distinctive white crisp shirt with a cinched in waist and the sublime black gown with a side slit that resembles a bow unravelling, most definitely stole our sartorial hearts.
