Don’t miss this month-long pop up by Tanglin Rd multi-label concept store Edit Lifestyle – there’s bound to be something you’ll want to take home.

Happening through 30th September, the Edit Lifestyle store along Tanglin Road is now a smaller, packaged version of the famous Turkish grand bazaars. Started by Manila-born Florence Lim since moving to Singapore in 2009, the well-traveled curator is constantly inspired by the new lands she visits.

The Turkish Delights Pop Up Bazaar is treated no differently. It features artisanal ware such as luxurious linen products, exquisite tableware and perfectly scented home and bath products. Alongside these Turkish-origin lifestyle goods is a collection fit for an exhibition by world-reknown jewellery genius Sevan Bıçakçı, who works exclusively with rare gems, stones and pearls using self-discovered carving techniques. A conversation with the designer also revealed he has customers from the world-over, including fashion icon Daphne Guinness!

The light-filled white interiors of the Edit Lifestyle store make for the perfect foundation for any concept to be designed into it, so stepping into the pop up space will feel just like a match made in heaven. You’ll be engulfed by the light powdery fragrance from the candles by Lokum Istanbul (which also has a range of well-packaged Turkish sweets and desserts you’ll find in-store) and an array of dining sets from Armaggan you’ll want to adorn your tables with. Kaftans, plush cushions and third-generation woven carpets from Haremlique won’t fail to catch your eye, so it’s difficult not to feel like grabbing everything in sight.

Be sure not to miss the finely tuned collection of products you’ll find here. At least if you haven’t been to the Land of The Crescent Moon, you could say you’re incredibly familiar with the souks (markets) and smells of the hamams (spas)!
