Natalie Portman and a host of other celebrities came out to show their support at the exhibition showcasing Dior’s influence on the art world.

Big names in the world of fashion and celebrity flocked to the Ullens Centre for Contemporary Art in Beijing for the opening exhibition of Miss Dior. The free exhibit held from 30 April to 31 May aims to cement the long-lasting relationship between the House of Dior and the international art community.

Seventeen female artists from all over the world were invited to use their artistic expression to interpret Christian Dior’s first fragrance created in 1947 and an enduring fashion symbol. Also at the exhibition will be Dior’s own influence on artists through the fashion house founder’s friendships and his passionate praise of the beauty of women and flowers. Organizers hope that the exhibition will carry on the  “legend of Dior”.

The opening ceremony saw  Dior ambassador and Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman, Zhang Ziyi, Carla Bruni as well as as well as a number of celebrities and local socialites show up to lend their support.
