Luxury fashion retailers, Net-A-Porter and Mr Porter will be the first to sell Diane Von Furstenberg’s Google glasses collection.

In attempt to make the geeky-looking Google Glass a little more stylish, wearable and fun, Diane Von Furstenberg (creator of the timeless wrap dress) has used her designer expertise to create a new collection of the futuristic glasses – as seen in her Spring/Summer 2013 collection, where the models wore chic outfits paired with the now-trendy Google Glass. The glasses filmed what the models did backstage and what they saw when walking down the runway, which then turned into a short film that gave the world a small insight as to what it is really like to be a model.

The women’s collection named “DVF | Made for Glass” will be sold in optical frames and sunglasses – whilst the men will have three titanium designs to choose from.

As of June 23, the glasses will be on sale exclusively at Net-A-Porter and Mr Porter and we seriously cannot wait!

Meanwhile, check out the behind the scenes of Diane Von Furstenberg’s 2013 Spring/Summer collection in the DVF [Through the Google Glass] video:
